"But without faith it is impossible to please God. For he that cometh to God
must believe that he is: and is a rewarder to them that seek him."
God wants us to seek him solely. To run to him only. To gaze toward his face and "know" he will help. But if we are always running busy with activities, religious or secular, we must ask ourselves what are we chasing? Are we seeking God himself? Because if we are, we would come to know that even the breathe for today is supplied by him. We would beg him in humility and with gratitude for the gifts he will supply. Why? Because he gives for our greater good, so one day he can supply us with the heavenly promises Christ has earned for us, this is true even for the sufferings that come. All is permitted for a greater good.
So if today is a struggle and you can hardly think straight or get out of bed, know you are loved. You are called to seek God wherever you are and seek him with all the strength given to you today. For if today's strength is minimal, your desire for him will draw blessings that your mind can never have imagined. Our God is VERY Good. We cannot imagine his profound love for us, for you. That is why he is always waiting to give his blessings and to help us. But if we go about seeking the gifts and not him by means we find "good," we probably will end up going in circles and getting frustrated since it is we ourselves that is doing the guiding.
To seek God: frequent the Sacraments regularly, pray daily, especially silent prayer where you are just sitting at his feet to listen, devote yourself to your vocation and with that the daily duty God has already supplied you with. This is where you will find him because he has been with you all the while. And he is eager for you to know.
